When I was little, I had a Curious George puzzle. I also had a 100 piece that was a picture of a cat with a tiara on in a light pink purse. I’ve always been pretty good at solving these. I think after you finish one, there is that feeling of accomplishment. Around our house, puzzles have been a way for us as a family to come together.
So, boredom buster number 3: Solve a jigsaw puzzle. Recently, I got a new 1,500 piece one at Target. It is a picture of ice cream, because who doesn’t like colorful food? I’m almost done with it! What is great about this puzzle, is that the back of the pieces are a certain color. This means there are different sections. For example, I did the “Purple section” first.
Not only are puzzles fun but they are a great way to challenge your brain during the Summer. My mom is pretty strict about keeping our brains active and healthy. What I consider a plus as well is that these things could last you a few days. This means it isn’t just a one day activity.
This is a pretty short post, but look forward to next weeks boredom buster! Also, follow alibloulife on instagram @alibloulife This way you will know what’s being uploaded!
